VHS Passau
The administration union of the further education centre of Passau is a public body. The city of Passau and the county of Passau constitute the responsible body of this further education centre. The centre realizes its aim of adult education in the following fields: languages, profession, EDP, culture, health and graduation. It is responsible for F.E. within employment and the education and training on the job in collaboration with job centres in the region. The centre takes part in training colleges and technical colleges in Passau and in professional colleges for F.E. in Chemnitz and Dresden. Their main tasks concerns first education and F.E. as well as the delivering of national and European projects and federal state projects The further education centre of Passau is a member of the Bavarian association of further education centres and thus a member of the European Foundation for Quality Management (EFQM).
